An INC Magazine Entrepreneur of the Year, Larry has started, bought or sold more than eight businesses in his career. He has a passion for helping entrepreneurs launch new businesses. And re-launching an existing business.
For the last five years he has been a mentor to Rice University and the University of Houston students who are in the entrepreneurship programs and in the Rice/UH start-up accelerator. He coaches them on how to define a customer for the product they want to develop, how to take it to market and how to write a pitch deck to raise capital.
Larrry’s entrepreneurial experiences taught him lessons about what to do, and more importantly, what not to do. He has also made it a priority to study entrepreneurs to widen his knowledge base and bring new insights to his clients.
His mission is to enable his clients to avoid the pitfalls that cause 80% of new ventures to fail within the first 18 months.
